How to Create a News Page

  • From the top menu, locate Content and hover over it. A menu will appear below.

  • Hover the mouse over Add Content. Another menu should will to the right.

  • Use the mouse to click on News.

  • Enter information in the fields

    Enter the news source information in each field; News Type, Title*, Publication Date*, Byline. The fields with * are required.

    Enter a short description of the news and the link to the news source (PDF, URL of the news article) in the Text & share field of the Components.

  • Publish and Save

    Change the Current state from Draft to Published and save.

    See this news/notice appear on the Home page and the News & Events page.

    Latest news item on Home Page

Questions

News pages are for articles and updates.

All fields with a red asterisk indicate that the field is required.

If you want to publish the content immediately, select the Published option in the "Change to:" dropdown in the right hand menu. Otherwise, click the Save button.

News items do not need to be added to the News and Events page - the news page should automatically update with the new news item. The News and Events page is ordered by date; the most recent date will be at the top of the page.
