Facility Guide

General Parking
Metered street parking and paid parking lots are conveniently available in the Civic Center area.

Elevators
Public elevators are located on all floors in both the East and West wings.

Public Restrooms - West Wing
Public restrooms are located adjacent to the elevators.

Public Restrooms-East Wing

  • Floor 1 - near the West wing elevators.
  • Floor 2 - near the East wing elevators.
  • Floor 3 - between the escalator and the elevators
  • Floors 4 through 11 - located West of the elevators.

Facilities for Persons with Disabilities

General Parking
Metered street parking on Parton Avenue and Civic Center Drive West for individuals with permits or DMV issued disability placard.

Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, in paid parking lots.

Juror Parking for Persons with Disabilities 
Please telephone the Office of the Jury Commissioner at (657) 622-7000 for information.

Accessible Restrooms

  • Floor 1 - located near the security desk and the south end of the West wing.
  • Floor 2 - located near the West wing elevators.
  • Floor 3 - located between the escalator and the elevators
  • Floors 4 through 11 - located west of the elevators.

Service Guide

Food
The Courthouse Cafeteria, located on the third floor of the East Wing, is open to the public. Its hours of operation are from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, although these hours may vary.

Services for Persons with Disabilities

Information regarding ADA accommodations is available in the courthouse main lobby. Please contact Court Staff for assistance.

Service animals 
Dogs or miniature horses specifically trained to aid a person with disabilities are welcome.

Public TTY Telephone 
Public telephone with TTY capabilities is located on the third floor next to Courtroom C63.

Language and American Sign Language (ASL) 
Interpreters will be scheduled upon request. To submit your request for this accommodation, use the link located in the Accommodation Service Request section.

Assistive Listening Devices and Communication Access Real-time Translation
For individuals with hearing loss, assistive listening devices, and Communication Access Real-time Translation service are available. If you anticipate needing any of these accommodations during your visit to the Courthouse, please complete the Request for Accommodation form. You can find the link for this form under Accommodation Service Request section.

Service Request and Suggestion Form

The judicial officers and administrative staff want to make court services and facilities accessible to all. Your requests and recommendations are welcome. Please complete a service request and suggestion form available at the Security Desk on the first floor and give it to Court Staff on duty. They are also available to assist you in completing the form. The form can be mailed to:

Accommodation Services Request

One of the Court's goals is to contribute to the quality of life in the community by fairly and impartially administering justice in the most effective, efficient and professional manner possible.

The California Judicial Council has established a Rule of Court directing the method for requesting specific accommodation services to assist those participating in court proceedings. Forms to request accommodation are available in the Courthouse Lobby and at all public counters throughout the Courthouse.  Additionally, the form can be accessed from the Superior Court of California, County of Orange ADA Information Website. The Superior Court of California, County of Orange, does not discriminate on the basis of disability on admission to, access to, or the operation of its programs, services, benefits or activities. Questions, complaints, or requests for additional information regarding Court related ADA issues may be addressed to the Court ADA Site Coordinator. The ADA Site Coordinator will ensure that all complaints are investigated promptly and fairly. All complaints must be filed within ninety (90) days of the last alleged occurrence of discrimination.
