Death Penalty-Related Habeas Corpus

Orange County Superior Court, in conjunction with the Fourth District Court of Appeal, is seeking qualified criminal defense attorneys to represent inmates in death penalty related habeas corpus proceedings.
This Attorney Town Hall was held on September 20, 2019 and led by Mr. Michael Hersek, Director of the Habeas Corpus Resource Center, and the Honorable Kimberly Menninger, Judge of the Orange County Superior Court, to provide information to interested attorneys on the requirements to represent indigent persons who have been sentenced to death in their habeas corpus proceedings in Superior Courts.
