Law Day Student Showcase - 2027
“Justice Through Our Eyes”
The Orange County Superior Court will host a Law Day Student Showcase (K-12th Grade) inviting youth to express what the rule of law, justice, and civic responsibility mean to them through art and media.
🧒 K–5: “Letters & Drawings to Justice”
Submission Types:
- Hand-drawn pictures
- Letters to a judge or the court
- Illustrations of fairness, rules, or helping others
🎓 Middle School (6–8): Visual & Written Expression
Submission Types:
- Posters
- Digital artwork
- Short written reflections (optional)
🎬 High School (9–12): Media & Civic Voice
Submission Types:
- Short videos (1–3 minutes)
- Photography (with captions)
- Graphic design / posters
Courthouse Showcase & Awards
🏛 Law Day Student Showcase Event
Hosted at the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana
Event Features:
- Gallery-style display of student work
- Video screening area (for high school submissions)
- Pre-coordination with teachers of selected winners/virtual classroom visits from Judges for announcements.
- Photo/media coverage
