The Family Law Unit handles cases in which people are ending a marriage or registered domestic partnership, identifying a child’s legal parents, determining custody and visitation issues, establishing or enforcing child and spousal support or dealing with domestic violence or elder abuse issues. The Family Law Clerks Office and 11 Family Law courtrooms are located at the Lamoreaux Justice Center in the city of Orange. There are 5 Family Law courtrooms located at the Central Justice Center in the city of Santa Ana.
