Payments and Extensions

Please Note

Internet payments are not available for the posting of bail required to set a court trial, or trial by written declaration. Additionally, the court does not offer online payment services for payment of fine. You can pay bail on your traffic citation if not past due, enroll in traffic school if eligible and request an extension online or through our automated phone system. You must have your OC Pay # available to utilize this service.

When submitting payments and/or documents by mail, allow 10 days for delivery and processing.

CAN I PAY MY TICKET ONLINE?

Online (internet) payment: Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, EFT and Debit. This option is only available if paying on or before your original due date. If so, click here to access the online Case Payment Processing page. A $6.20 processing fee will be charged by the provider for this service.

  • Your payment will be processed and a confirmation of payment will be available for printing
  • The citation cannot be past due

By mail: Checks and money orders only. DO NOT MAIL CASH. Checks and money orders should be made payable to "Clerk of the Court". To ensure your payment is credited to the correct case, include the case or citation number. All checks must be preprinted with the maker’s name. Mail payments to: Information Payment Center, P.O. HOW CAN I REQUEST AN EXTENSION?

The clerk’s office is authorized to grant:

One (1) 45-day extension and an additional (1) 30-day second extension prior to any Failure to Appear action (Warrant, Department of Motor Vehicle Hold or Civil Assessment). This authorization applies to mandatory and forfeitable infractions. Further requests must be referred to court.

One (1) 30-day extension for completion of traffic school once traffic school fines and fees have been paid. This applies to traffic school ordered in court or processed in the clerk’s office.

One (1) 30-day extension on payment plans established under VC40510.5. This excludes payment plans on Traffic School.

  • You must have your OC Pay #
  • Please have your citation or case number available
  • No more than two extensions processed on your case
  • No past or future scheduled court appearances
  • You cannot have a failure to appear or Civil Assessment on the case
