• Do not register for traffic school online if you have not paid your bail and traffic school fee to the court
  • If you hold a commercial drivers license.
  • The offense was committed in a commercial vehicle

• Eligible requirements for referral to traffic school:

• A valid driver's license
• Not presently assigned to, nor attending a traffic school program
• You have not attended any traffic school on a citation issued within 18 months of the violation date of this citation
• If you are unsure of the violation date of your last attendance for traffic school required to determine if you meet this criteria, contact the court in the jurisdiction of that citation to obtain the date of violation. Calculate the 18 month criteria using this date and the violation date of your current citation
• It is your responsibility to determine if you meet these requirements. If you do not meet these requirements and elect to attend traffic school, the violation will be reflected on your driving record

• The traffic violator school fee is not refundable

• NO EXTENSIONS will be granted and the traffic school program must be completed within the 90-day due date assigned by the court upon payment of your bail and traffic school fee

• If you fail to complete the course by the court ordered completion date indicated on your payment receipt, the traffic school fee and bail may be declared forfeited ( VC 40512.6 ). A bail forfeiture and notice of conviction will then be prepared and forwarded to the Department of Motor Vehicles (VC 1803 )

• If you attend traffic school prior to paying the bail and traffic school fee to the court, the court may not accept your traffic school certificate and your citation will not be dismissed
