Facility Guide

General Parking: Free parking is available. Enter from Alicia Parkway or Crown Valley Parkway for the lower parking lot or Pacific Island Drive for the upper parking lot.

Entrance: From the lower parking lot, use the stairs that are located at upper level of the parking lot. From the upper parking lot, proceed to the main public entrance.

Elevators: Public Elevators are available on the first and third floors.

Public Restrooms: Restrooms are located on the third floor, behind the center partition.

Drinking Fountain: Drinking Fountains are located on the second floor in the lobby to the left of the main entrance, on the first floor opposite each courtroom entrance and on the third floor behind the center partition.

Facilities for Persons with Disabilities

Handicapped Parking: Designated parking spaces are available in the upper parking lot for individuals with permits. Enter the upper parking lot from Pacific Island Drive and proceed to the designated spaces.

Juror Parking for persons with disabilities: No Jury Trials are held at Harbor Justice Center Laguna Niguel.

Restrooms: The restroom facilities are on the third floor. Wheelchair access and support bars are available.

Wheelchair Access to Courtrooms: From the upper parking lot, proceed to the main public entrance. If you need to access the courtrooms, ask court or Sheriff staff for assistance.

Automatic Doors: The doors to the main entrance are activated by a motion sensor. The door on the first floor at the northwest entrance may be opened by pressing the activation button located on the wall.

Service Guide

Food: No food service available on site. Restaurants and fast food businesses are located in all of the local strip malls.

Public Telephones: Located on the third floor next to the men's restroom.

Transportation: Public bus transportation is available with a stop in front of the court facility.

In Court Services

One of the Court's goals is to contribute to the quality of life in the community by fairly and impartially administering justice in the most effective, efficient and professional manner possible. The Court and Sheriff's Staff are available to assist you to make your visit as pleasant and efficient as possible. You are encouraged to ask for assistance or accommodation if you are having difficulty using our facilities. Information regarding accommodations pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act is available at the information brochure rack in the courthouse main lobby on the second floor and at filing counters. Please contact court staff for personal assistance.

Personal Guides may be assigned to assist on request.

Service animals are welcome.

Public telephones are located on the third floor next to the men's restroom.

Assistive Listening devices or computer-aided transcription systems are available for hearing impaired people. American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters are also available on advance request. If you know in advance that you will require a listening device, computer-aided transcription, or an ASL Interpreter when you visit the Courthouse, please fill out the Request for Accommodation Form provided on our Superior Court Website located at: http://www.occourts.org or call (949) 249-5091. If you are already at the Courthouse, the form is available at any public filing counter. After completing the form, please deliver it to court staff at any filing counter.

Mobility: Court personnel and Sheriffs will assist in directing and instructing witnesses, litigants and others to accessible court areas and in finding service alternatives. If you are participating in a trial or are a witness, please telephone (949) 249-5091. Court staff will arrange for any assistance you may require.

The judicial officers and administrative staff want to make court services and facilities accessible to all. Your requests and recommendations are welcome. Please complete a service request and suggestion form available at all public counters throughout the Courthouse and give it to court staff at any filing counter or use the Judicial Council Request for Accommodation Form available online (below).

Request for Accommodation

The California Judicial Council has established a Rule of Court directing the method for requesting specific accommodation services to assist those participating in court proceedings. Forms to request accommodation are available in the Courthouse Lobby at the Sheriff's Security Desk and at all public counters throughout the Courthouse or by calling (949) 249-5091.
