Facility Guide

General Parking: Santa Ana has metered parking in the Civic Center Area. Paid parking lots are conveniently located.

Elevators: Public elevators are located on all floors in both the East and West Wings.

Public Restrooms--West Wing: Public restrooms are located adjacent to the elevators.

Public Restrooms--East Wing: First and second floor restrooms are located on the east wall of the lobby area. The third floor restroom is located between the escalator and the elevators. Fourth through eleventh floor restrooms are located to the west of the elevators.

Facilities for Persons with Disabilities

Handicapped Parking: Metered parking is free to individuals with permits and is located on Parton Avenue and Bush Street. Paid parking with handicap access is available in lots adjacent to the building on Civic Center Drive West and Flower Street.

Juror Parking for Persons with Disabilities: Please telephone the Office of the Jury Commissioner at (714) 834-4692 for information.

Restrooms: The Courthouse has restroom facilities with wheelchair access and support bars in the Jury Assembly Room office on the first floor. Please ask for assistance at the Security Desk if the jury assembly room is in use. The 7th Floor, east wing also has wheelchair access facilities.

Service Guide

Food: The Courthouse Cafeteria is open to the Public and is located on the third floor, East Wing.

Public Telephones are located on the west side of the lobby area on the first three floors. All other floors possess a telephone directly to the east of the elevators.

Services for Persons with Disabilities

Information regarding A.D.A. accommodations is available at the Information Desk in the courthouse main lobby. Please contact Court Staff at the Information Desk for personal assistance.

Personal guides may be assigned to assist on request.

Service animals are welcome.

Public telephones with wheelchair access are provided on the first three floors of the Courthouse on the west end of the main public hallways.

TDD pay telephones are available at the west end of the main public hallways on the 2nd and 3rd Floors.

Language and American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters will be ordered upon request (see request form link below).

Assistive listening devices or computer-aided transcription systems for people with loss of hearing are available. If you know in advance that you will be requiring a device, computer-aided transcription, or an ASL Interpreter when you visit the Courthouse, please fill out the Request for Accommodation Form provided in the link below and call (714) 834-5323.

Mobility: Sheriffs will assist in directing and instructing witnesses, litigants and others to accessible court areas and in finding service alternatives. If you are participating in a trial or are a witness, please telephone our accommodation office at (714) 834-5334. The court staff will arrange for any special requirements you may request.

The judicial officers and administrative staff want to make court services and facilities accessible to all. Your requests and recommendations are welcome. Please complete a service request and suggestion form available at the Security and Information Desk on the first floor and give it to Court Staff on duty. Accommodation Services Request

One of the Court's goals is to contribute to the quality of life in the community by fairly and impartially administering justice in the most effective, efficient and professional manner possible.

The California Judicial Council has established a Rule of Court directing the method for requesting specific accommodation services to assist those participating in court proceedings. Forms to request accommodation are available in the Courthouse Lobby at the Information Desk and at all public counters throughout the Courthouse. Additionally, the form can be accessed from the Orange County Superior Court Website or from the Judicial Council Website.
