Judges in the Classroom

Teachers are you looking for opportunities to engage your class in lessons on the U.S. Constitution, Rule of Law, Voting Rights, or Historical Milestones in the making of our democracy? To support civic learning in schools during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Judges in the Classroom Program is connecting Orange County Superior Judicial Officers with teachers grades K-12 for virtual visits or lessons on the role of the judiciary, the three branches of government, rule of law, and other areas of civics. The Judges in the Classroom Program is supported by Chief Justice Tani G, Cantil-Sakauye's Power of Democracy Steering Committee, Orange County Superior Court was selected as 1 of 10 pilot counties to participate because of our court’s strong local civic learning and judicial outreach efforts.
